To start the lecture, Sara Nesteruk lead a session that basically highlighted the similarities that draw certain songs together. For instance, right in the beginning of the lecture, we were shown how Dire Straits' song, Brothers in Arms has the same medium of G# minor as that of Lady Gaga's Poker Face. This is just one of the examples that was given in the lecture, of how songs most of the time will have some kind of similarity.
After this discussion was held, Sara went on to talk about different After Effects animation styles that were used to promoted certain music videos. For example, AANAATT, by Max Hattler, this is something that could easily be used as a strong reference for the Visualisation of Sound brief. This particular piece was completed and created in stop motion. With that premise in mind, and idea such as using post it notes to create levels of pitch and such could also be used as an animation piece in response to the Visualisation of Sound Brief.
