Rather than going into our studio session for one of our usual Foundation Studio Practice sessions, we were taken to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park to explore some of what work the park had to offer. Once we were there, we were told that this was a good chance to gather some photographs of the park and apply them to the weekly focuses of our Studio Brief 'A Sense of Place'.
Below you can see that I had taken a series of photographs of the parks sculptures - and other things like the animation of the LED light horse running on the board, down to the sculptures of towering men and other workings of metal. One of the pieces that were on display whilst we were there on the trip was the wave of poppy's that were temporarily posted there that are frequently used for remembrance days being held in London - photos of which can be found below with the rest of the sculptures.
