In this lecture we were shown a screening of a piece of work created by a Russian film group that had created the piece named 'Last Riot'. Although in my opinion I considered the video to be somewhat strange in some of its aspects - mostly because of the fact that it was animated/filmed/created in a very strange style, it was still an interesting watch to see the different techniques people or groups have previously used.
The piece was created through the use of animating a simple set of three photos per one scene, so the image would only ever move between those three images each time. The film was basically a merging of Animation, Graphic Design, Fashion and Photography.
Other films such as 'The World Turned Upside Down' were also displayed in the lecture, but not considered as profound as the above piece 'Last Riot'.
