For the second session of John Kelly's physical studio we moved on to slightly refine our ideas more, creating rough sections of the alphabet so that we could try and represent our ideas for a typeface as best as possible. With my designs for the fonts that will be fully developed the final studio session with John, I will be moving forwards with the two shown below, of which are quite angular and dependent upon shapes.
To support the idea that they are very dependent on these shapes, one of the designs was crafted down from one of the BauHaus research pages that were provided in the session. The physical studio sessions on typefaces at the moment is rather interesting to some respect because of its various was and passages we can take to funnel our ideas into one solid font - something that is very interesting in its own respect in my opinion.
The two sets of text that I created are shown below, if one of these changes or is swapped for another before the final transcription session - it will be mentioned in the final post of this series;
