To complete the three part typographic illustrations in physical studio, we were tasked with completing the final font alphabet and scanning it to edit on illustrator. As you can see below, both photo and edit have been provided, the illustrator piece is the latter of the pair. The font that I chose to use in the end was one that was quite strong and block-like, and was based around on of the more architectural source images that we had to work from.
If you looked through the previous posts about the typographic transcriptions, you will notice that I have developed other font styles to some extent, but chose this because it was the one that stood out. It stood out because it was quite clear in its context and understanding. The typeface is one that could even be looked back to when sourcing fonts for another brief or project, using and creating your own font can help to mold the right look to a design.
